NOTE: Version 2.1 is the same as v2.0 with some nasty bugs fixed, if you have v2.0 please download the upgrade patch at the bottom of this page. The complete Roomi file is already patched, so if you didn't have v2.0 yet you don't need to get the patch (more on the patch below).

This is Roomi's second version so far. After concentrating on replicating the original in the first version, I've worked on her giving her new moves and trying to improve her gameplay value. My goal is to make Roomi a strong but balanced and, above all, fun to play, character. She has now much more depth than in the original, hopefully making this little cute cat-girl from Galaxy Fight a competitive fighter now :)

There are two versions of Roomi, Roomi-I and Roomi-II. Roomi-I is meant to be as close to the original character as possible (which was rather limited), and stops there. Roomi-II is an enhanced version with easier button commands, more moves with powered up versions, new movement possibilities and SUPER mode. Roomi-I is the same than in v1.0, so the changes only apply to Roomi-II.

What's new in this version:

  • Roomi has variable jump heights now.
  • Roomi can triangle jump now.
  • Added wake-up moves: you can roll or attack before getting up.
  • Changed Giant Knuckle's command to QCB+Punch, as inputting half circles consistently with the keyboard is rather difficult.
  • Changed Rolling Crush's command to QCF+Kick.
  • Added a new special move: Rolling Slice. It's the antiair Roomi needed so bad ;)
  • Added ES (powered up) versions for every special move, including the new one.
  • Added SUPER Mode! Your attack and defense increases while it lasts.
  • Now with 12 powerful and enhanced palettes.

What is still missing:

  • All that's left to my imagination ^_~.

If you feel you have a great idea about something Roomi should have, please tell me. No, really, please do it. As I said before I want to make a powerful but not cheap character, so any constructive criticism is encouraged ;)

Changes in version 2.1:

  • The standing LP - LK autocombo is now removed.
  • The ES Giant Knuckle being blocked and not being able to hit anymore until the opponent is hit bug is removed too.
  • The KO flash didn't appear if you won with an ES Rolling Crush. It does now.
  • Rabbit Blow has been toned down (it dealt way too much damage).
