Slash v2.0 (100 %)

"A monster hunter from the world of monsters. His job is to punish the evil monsters that escape from their world to this one. He fights with a sword of light, and likes wandering, and eating bowls of rice with tempura."

This is the second and, up to now, final version of Slash, the cool swordsman from Waku Waku 7. I tried to make an exact replica of the original, and this time everything is in (except his pounce, which is useless in Mugen).

What was done before:

  • All required sprites.
  • All basic moves. Standing, crouching and jumping ones.
  • All special moves
  • All ES moves
  • 6 palettes (five from the original game and the sixth by me).
  • Everything fully boxed and with sound.

What's new in this version:

  • Thorough adjusting of damage, power gaining, etc, values. Damages were way too powerful before (e.g. a simple jump-in & Slash Dynamic combo took near half life bar on a standard opponent).
  • All intros, win, lose, taunt, etc. poses.
  • All visual effects. Sounds and his sparks from Waku Waku 7 included.
  • All alternate standing and jumping moves.
  • Wake-up maneuvers.
  • Triangle jump.
  • All throws.
  • DokiDoki and HaraHara super moves.
  • SUPER Mode: you are stronger and tougher while it lasts.
  • My second try at creating an AI (Artificial Intelligence).
  • 6 new and powerful palettes, for a total of 12 (access these by holding START while in the character select screen).

What is still missing:

  • Anything I came up with. Who knows... ;)

I'm seeking good ideas now that Slash is complete. I've resolved not to give him strikers (he is a lone warrior after all), nor to make him "evil" (because he's not). Or do you think I should leave Slash as it is, and that adding more things to him will spoil him? Whatever you think, please tell me. Right now. Come on, come on, don't be shy, I'm not going to bite you (well... If you are a really good-looking chick... just joking). Mmmm... ^_~
